The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift
Somehow, this trilogy has never matched up to all the hype… Except maybe the first one… (The first one was such a black horse of a movie, there was no hype… And I liked it a lot… Vin Diesel is way cool!)
This one really made me feel cheated… The ang moh male lead (Lucas Black) was ugly… The ang moh female lead (Nathalie Kelley) was boring… My cute Jap poster boy (Sung Kang) dies while other Jap guy (Brian Tee) has a really ugly nose… And all of the racing action is masked over by a bad plot, a lame love story, acted by (hate to repeat myself) ugly people!
Did I also mention that the movie portrayed Japanese women in the most unfavourable light?
