Not so improved

We got a pack of Lay’s with our Subway and discovered something new about the packaging.

Lay's

Now it’s made from 100% Sunflower oil, as opposed to the combination of Sunflower, Cottonseed and Corn oil it used before. This new change is supposed to make it healthier cos there is zero grams of trans fat and only 1g of saturated fats for every 10g of chips.

Unfortunately, now Lay’s BBQ chips look like and taste like Jack n’ Jill. I don’t think i’m ever gonna pay double for Lay’s when they taste like the cheaper alternatives.

Best Pickup Line Ever?

Guy: “What’s your story?”

Gal: “I don’t have a story.”

Guy: “C’mon, everybody has a story. What’s yours?” (Add cheeky grin)

I’m not so sure it’s the best, but my director thinks it is. It worked for him.

I’ll give it points for not being contrived or insulting to a woman’s intellect and dignity.

I did a little sightseeing before work last friday.

It was one of those days where I don’t feel like working, and needed to do something different. It was a great place to visit during CNY… Because of its colour.

**All pictures were taken on my Cybershot SE K800i Phone.

Red Dot Traffic Building

Meant to visit it since the first day of work, but never got round to doing it. I’m glad I did. Cos it’s a really pretty and quaint little place.

I loved the graffiti on the walls. The inside of the building looks like it used to be a primary school or something.

The Museum opens on the weekend. I wanna see it sometime. But somehow, the thought of returning to office on the weekend really turns me off. Plus, Stella comes over on sundays so I stay home to take care of her.

Why do they always have to make me so sad??

The poor village girl was finally having some good luck in her life. She had a great job as an AD, the young handsome director was in love with her.

Then it turns out that she is the long-lost sister of the guy’s girlfriend, who died in a car accident while in his car. The family already didn’t like him much, and when he unintentionally killed their precious girl, they never wanted to see him again.

He thought he could starting afresh with this girl. But, now that this girl is found and acknowledged by her blood family, he could no longer be with her. Again!

And this girl is being hard pressed on all sides. She isn’t allowed to visit her foster mother (who brought her up), she isn’t allowed to go to work, she has to go university, and she’s not allowed to be with the man she loves.

WHY???

It’s really not good to be emotional about everything. Teared while watching the snippet of Schindler’s List at service too… Grrr

Had a cell reunion dinner at Sixth Avenue Auntie’s place yesterday, cos she asked us to go back.

She was really nice to us again. The yu sheng was on the house! I got a good deal cos it was supposed to be my treat.

Then after the dinner, in true CNY tradition…

It’s been a great long holiday…

Waking up late, seeing the family, taking care of Stella, great homemade family dinners, homemade pineapple tarts, meeting dar and his family, visiting sophia’s home, ang pows… Everything was good and happy and pleasant… I was just starting to really like this lifestyle and then reality hits back.

Work starts again tomorrow!

Ahhhhh….

Disclaimer: I still like my work. It’s just not the same as having a holiday.

Lousy banker (fellow K800i owner) recently sent me a whole bunch of games for the phone.

Out of the several games he sent, I chose four for starters and installed them in my phone. And I’m COMPLETELY HOOKED on Sims 2 mobile. My sim, Jenne, has a fancy house with a party room, recreation room, and revamped hall. She owns a guitar, a plasma tv, works as a DJ in the middle of the night and is married to a loofer called Ben. I’m playing Sims 2 late into the night just to make sure she’s eating well, sleeping well, pooping well, showering well, socialising well and enjoying life!!

AHHHHH!

I dunno whether to love him or hate him for it… Sheesh
