Monday was one of those days where everything went wrong. Even things that you’d never think could go wrong.
- Payroll was delayed
I checked my account several times that morning, not knowing what had happened. Turned out it was a human error, and I only found out when I spotted the email in my colleague’s mailbox.
I was down to the last of my spending money so I had to dig into the savings which I really hate doing. It was a hassle to get my savings cos the nearest ATM for my savings account was about 2 streets away. Not good for a day with a short lunch hour. Also didn’t help that I was looking forward to buying myself something nice (like my korean drama). - Wireless@SG blocked my computer
It suddenly decided that it didn’t want to accept my account details anymore. I couldn’t do all the stuff I had planned to do. After several attempts to log in, plus calls to Singtel to retrieve my password, the network blocked me!
The Singtel staff annoyed me to no end. Qmax staff was much friendlier and cooperative. Too bad I heard the wrong address and couldn’t register myself for Qmax.
To top off the day, I had to work late & YK couldn’t meet me because he had early class the next day.
But I’m glad Black Monday is finally over.
- My pay came in so I could pay off my bills and tithes and plan my finances for the next month. And have money to eat.
- It took 2 days of troubleshooting and calls and registering myself @ the ISPs supporting Wireless@SG, but now I’m finally back online. It’s a good feeling.
That’s also why I can blog about it now. Heh heh!
