WTF am I doing here blogging??

Observation: Only homecooked vegetables ever taste like, well, vegetables. All the others taste like oil, soya sauce, or oyster sauce.

Vertical Horizon is my best working companion, after my actual working companions.

And I’m finally watching them LIVE on SATURDAY @ the SINGAPORE FLYER!!

When was the last time I sat up in my room late at night,
with the lights off and my music playing on my laptop?

Far too long ago…

I never knew what trackbacks were…

Someone very 1337 taught me about them, and then it became the most fun thing in the world when I blogged about someone else’s blogpost.

**********

I used to get upset whenever I read your blog… because you kept counting… and looking back… and being sad about tasteless peanut butter.

Then I started liking it when your blog became about us… With funny photos and mentions of things I did and said… I loved it when you tracked back to my blog, because it meant you were reading it.

But then it stopped.

And then it wasn’t so fun to blog anymore.

I’m not looking forward to seeing the counting start again… I look forward to the day when your blog comes back to life, with trackbacks leading to a nice shiny new blog…

Then I can be happy for you too. =)

…for just one

Was taking the train to work today, and I saw a beautiful scene.

A young couple in jeans and tees were sleeping soundly in their seats. She had rested her head on his shoulder, he had rested his on her head, their arms locked in embrace. They looked comfortable and peaceful. Happy even.

We used to be happy too.

Thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you for being my best friend and lover. Thank you for our sweetest, happiest memories. Thank you for all the fun we had, and for all the dreams we shared. Thank you for everything you ever gave me: your life, your love, your time, your attention, your joys and your sorrows. Thank you for letting me give the same to you.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven.

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

– Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Our season is over, yet a new one begins… And I wish you all the best, my dear friend.

So long… and thanks for all the fish.
