Got a fortune cookie from one of those HK Cafes. Can’t remember the name of the place though.

I like fortune cookies…

My fortune: “Among the lucky, you are the chosen one”

Cool eh?

Finally had a combined cell gathering after so long… The whole two centres thing makes it so difficult for the two ex-ntu cells to have a meet up…

Once again, it was a bbq at cat’s…

We had lots of food (chix wings, satay, beehoon, fried rice, very tasty fish, & marshmallows)… Two new people, Jean, and Joyce (who happens to be Jon’s younger sister and is a splitting image of him)… Lots of silly chatter (I discovered some new people are reading my blog… Hello GX!)…

And cheesecakes made by Ivan & gf Yihui… I loved their oreo one!

It didn’t really end well for my dar though… The gathering ended so late, that by the time we left, yk missed his impt bus, and reach home at 2am. I missed my last bus home after walking a long way to AMK Hub, and had to pay the midnight surcharge for the cab fare…

But what I really didn’t like was the fact that my clothes were all stinking after the BBQ…

hahaha…

Yk was really pleased on Sunday, and it wasn’t difficult to see why…

HappyDar

He got a free spinelli signature coffee… Free cake for his birthday… His birthday present from me… & a relaxing day of shopping at one of his favourite malls - Funan.

It was like celebrating his birthday all over again…

I guess I’m not such a bad girlfriend after all…

My dar and I went down to raffles city to pick up my shoes… And we decided to get some dinner before heading home… Went to the foodcourt to get some cheap food…

But guess what we found instead?!

Pepper Lunch Express

Pepper Lunch Express!!

It was such a coincidence, cos we were just talking about how long we hadn’t had pepper lunch, the day before.

Me & My Pepper Lunch Express

And the best part? It’s about $2 cheaper for regular sized meals! And if you’re a small eater, you can get small sized meals from $4!

  1. A piping hot bowl of prawn mee
  2. A can of lemon barley
  3. A beloved dinner companion

You know you’re the worst girlfriend in the world when…

  1. You don’t have a birthday present or card or any birthday plans prepared for your own boyfriend’s birthday… Instead, he buys you a present…
  2. You forget to bring you wallet out so you can’t even give him a proper treat…
  3. You bring him out to shop at his favourite places, but most of the time, he’s shopping with you at your favourite places…
  4. He has to send you back as per normal…
  5. You blog about his birthday a day late…And have no time to colour correct the pictures and do touch ups…

Ah well… It’s a good thing he still loves me…

And we got to eat our favourite Taco Salad… This time, we got pictures!! (Nearly didn’t cos I was all set to start eating… Yk reminded me…)

Happy Birthday Dar!!

The answer is... 2

Guess which of these actually happened to me:

1) I got promoted
2) I got married
3) I got my own black french press with a bag of “Cafe Estima” absolutely free…

Happy April Fool’s Day!

Tried the Superdog fast food place at Vivo…

It was rather nice. No pictures cos we were hungry again. But I found a blog with some pictures to look at…

The chilli cheese hot dog was nice. Although, next time I’m not getting cheese cos I couldn’t taste it. The only thing that was lacking was pickle relish to give it that sweet and sour taste.

A hotdog just isn’t a hotdog without relish.

… and live in Singapore, you have to try the TACO SALAD @ Carl’s Junior.

For $8.90, it’s the best thing you can get in this mexican-fast-food-scarce-country…

There’s no picture cos well, we were too eager to start eating that we didn’t stop to think about taking a shot first…

Maybe next time!
