Oyster omelette, cheap CD shopping, lots and lots of chatter… And a pretty little card to polish it all off… (My fave FF too!)

It’s the best kind of birthday one can ask for!
I knew there was a reason why I didn’t have an inspiration for a blog the entire day… Cos I was MEANT to blog about cell…
It was a nice small group today with just 8 of us. Melmel came by for a visit… And what a rubbishy conversations we had again… Everyone was high… Won’t go into any detail, these things don’t translate well into blogs… Must be there to experience it first-hand…
But, there are a couple of things that must be said… (Otherwise, the ones who missed it will be scratching their heads in frustration.)
So as promised at Rong’s dining table, YQ will feature on this post. Because she especially complimented a particular person, whose name starts with J… So dubious eh?
Well, Wendy (new girl, Ray!) explained that she first visited a church for a guy, but stayed on for Jesus…

One more thing… We’re probably gonna start a cell blog… Where everyone gets to post whenever they want… It’ll have testimonies, prayer requests, jokes, pictures, and plenty of our trash conversations transferred to the blog for virtual time suaning! We’d also be able to link all our blogs to the cell blog… Moderator: Clems… (Who else??)

And this starbucks at Temasek Towers is good… There’s a multi-plug adaptor already on the wall socket… For when my batt runs low…
This has been my cafe of choice for the longest time…
Would hang out with Jane at the Raffles City one… Then I met another starbucks lover… And sealed my love for Starbucks… Since I started work, I discovered that Temasek Tower Starbucks is closer to work than Capital Tower Starbucks… So that’s where I am everyday, having my alone time until work…
I’m so regular that the barista already recognises me… And I knew immediately when they suddenly changed their white mugs for nice cool black ones just last thursday…

A girlfriend’s got to do what a girlfriend’s got to do…
Some might say it’s counter-intuitive, restrictive, wrong, or just cramping one’s style… But then, since when has being in a relationship been about fitting it into one’s lifestyle? (I used to think that way, but those relationships never got anywhere…)
Being in a relationship is about constantly making sacrifices, finding mutual compromises, and biting back your own tongue to not say things that you know will hurt your partner… It’s been time-consuming, and sometimes emotionally draining… But I dare say, things have been very good… God used all of this to teach me to Love…
And He isn’t just teaching me…
I know very well that if the roles were reversed, if I was the one with a need, he would have gladly done the same for me… And I really appreciate that…
Went to our favourite hot-chocolate-with-marshmallows- place… And Kay found Singlish on the receipt…
